Ads help keep HyperResponder available for free users while supporting the cost of AI parsing, app infrastructure, and ongoing development.

HyperResponder may show ads to free users.
Ads help support the free version of the app while covering the real costs involved in running HyperResponder.
Why Ads Exist
HyperResponder is not just a basic notes app.
When you use free-form logging, the app needs to process your workout text, understand the exercises, structure your sets, reps, weights, and session details, then save that information to your account.
That creates running costs, including:
AI processing through the OpenAI API;
app hosting and database usage;
account authentication;
workout history storage;
analytics and crash monitoring;
ongoing development and maintenance.
Ads help keep the free version available without making every user pay before they can try the app.
When You May See Ads
Free users may see ads while using the app.
Ad placement, frequency, and format may change over time as HyperResponder is improved.
We try to keep ads away from the core workout flow where possible, so they do not get in the way of logging your training.
Does PRO Remove Ads?
Yes.
HyperResponder PRO removes in-app ads.
If you want the cleanest version of the app, PRO gives you an ad-free experience along with expanded access to logging, analytics, history, programs, and progression features.
Are Ads Shown on the Website?
No.
HyperResponder does not currently show ads on the website.
The website is used for product information, legal pages, and the Help Centre.
Are My Workout Logs Used for Ad Targeting?
We do not use your private workout logs, notes, bodyweight data, or training history to target ads.
Your workout data is used to provide the app experience: logging, parsing, history, progress tracking, achievements, and related features.
Ads may still use platform-level or technical information depending on the ad system, device settings, and privacy controls.
Do Ads Affect AI Parsing?
No.
Ads do not change how HyperResponder reads or structures your workout logs.
If a workout does not parse correctly, that is usually related to the wording of the log, missing details, unusual exercise names, mixed formats, or a parsing limitation.
Why Not Make Everything Free?
Free-form workout logging has usage costs.
Every AI-assisted parse can create API costs, and every account adds storage, infrastructure, and support overhead.
The free version lets people try HyperResponder without paying upfront. Ads help make that possible.
PRO exists for users who want the full experience without ads and with fewer restrictions.
I Have PRO But Still See Ads
PRO should remove in-app ads.
If you have PRO but still see ads:
Open the PRO paywall.
Tap Restore Purchases at the bottom.
Close and reopen HyperResponder.
Make sure you are signed into the correct HyperResponder account.
Check that your Apple subscription is active.
You can open the paywall by going to Settings, then tapping your current plan under Your Plan.
Can I Control Ad Personalisation?
You may be able to control ad personalisation through your device or Apple privacy settings.
On iPhone, check your Apple privacy and advertising settings to manage the level of ad personalisation available on your device.
These settings are controlled by Apple and your device, not directly by HyperResponder.
